About Us

Dollars and Sense Bookkeeping started in 1998.  Formerly known as Sparr Computer Services, the business was started by Caroline Sparr.  It  has continued to be a female-owned business.   

What originally started as a one person business working from her residence has continued to grow and expand and now has multiple employees. In 2009, we proudly relocated the business to a commercial location in Manheim, Pennsylvania.                         

The owner's background has been associated with the construction and government industry so we have specialized in bookkeeping and payroll for the construction industry, but have expanded to many other industries including but not limited to non-profit, hospitality, and property management as well as personal finances.
